Never thought i'd be stuck in here, when i was on the edge of getting a real life.
Let's sit and wonder. How many of us, late 20s early 30s, are actually pursuing their child's dreams?
Looking around me, this question hit me as i realised we were a lost generation... FOR REAL! Our parents still do not want to believe it, but they've been blessed!
Or did we miss something? Are we Orwell's kids? I was born in 1984, of course real life had nothing to do with the book, but nowadays people... are so far from it? I keep being frightenned by the not-so-young who need to watch tv at 8 in the evening to make their choice about what is good and what is bad, what is normal and what is shoking, how and what to think and even worse, who they're supposed to be.
As a human being, how can you know what your aim is, if everything that you know has been pushed to your brain through your eyes ans ears, leaving no room for your own thoughts and feelings...?
But the worst in all this is that none of them TV zombies feel any need to get a glimpse on reality on their own. The shutters of the window on the world seem to be closed for many. Too bad the dream machine killed the dream, Big Brother's on cocaine to feel better and the world is getting down.
Now that most of us have been brainwashed (or even never got to use their brain properly), what is left? Being part of the process or sustain it? Maybe.
I'll go for a third choice. Fuck it. Use it. Abuse it. Dream like an 8 years old. Being faithfull to the child i was, worship my dreams and make them my goals.
